Academic Support Program
At AESA we strive to provide the best learning environment possible for all of our students within a college preparatory program. Students are supported in a variety of ways in and out of the classroom by their teachers. In the same spirit, some students benefit greatly from a higher tier of support and intervention.
Program Description
The Academic Support Program at AESA is thoughtfully crafted to empower students with qualifying conditions, ensuring they thrive academically, behaviorally, and independently within our curriculum with tailored accommodations. Eligibility for this program is carefully assessed by our Program Director and Administration Team, focusing on recent neuro-educational evaluations or physician-designated conditions. Student qualification is rooted in evidence of genuine academic needs, guiding our structured Level system for personalized support.

For younger or currently unidentified students, opportunities for qualification remain open throughout the school year, supported by academic evidence and screening processes led by our dedicated educators and Academic Support Director. Parents are actively involved in the evaluation process, ensuring comprehensive support for their child's educational journey.

New applicants to AESA are encouraged to specify their needs during the admissions process, facilitating a transparent review of necessary documents by our admissions team. While AESA focuses on fostering academic growth, we collaborate closely with families to meet individual needs within our curriculum. Please note that AESA does not provide special education services such as curriculum modifications or behavior plans.

Admission into the Academic Support Program involves an additional yearly fee based on Level placement, ensuring sustained support aligned with each student's evolving needs.

Moreover, some students benefit from supplementary services such as speech or occupational therapy, and we actively monitor these needs, assisting families in finding suitable providers outside of school.
