AESA Prep Academy is designed for the college-bound student in need of an individualized, flexible academic schedule. We have a 4:1 average student-to-teacher ratio, and offer courses fully approved by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) and the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). What does this mean? It means that our students enjoy the benefits of high quality, highly transferable courses within a schooling structure that can work around their specific needs.
Our students have regular academic periods for their core academic subjects and electives. This gives us the opportunity to accelerate a student's course work or do remedial work when it is necessary. Our curriculum is SACS accredited and is based on the Common Core Standards, the National Standards, the PSAT, the SAT and the ACT. To serve our student athletes, our curriculum is also NCAA approved to ensure their eligibility with Division I, II, and III colleges and universities. Instead of utilizing Advanced Placement courses (which more and more colleges and universities are not accepting), our students distinguish themselves academically by taking dual credit courses from the University of Texas at Austin.
AESA Prep Academy focuses on creating well-rounded students that will be able to successfully navigate the college admissions process. Our students will be perfectly situated in the college admissions process in the areas of student leadership, community service, completion of a fine arts portfolio, and preparation for the SAT and ACT exams.
Every student at AESA is a member of our Student Government and Model UN. Our goal is to create life-altering experiences for our students by improving their quality of life and enhancing their educational and economic opportunities. We provide educational programming based on the principles of respect for family, education, and morality.
AESA Prep Academy strives to achieve a standard of world class excellence in everything we do. We are raising the bar for educational institutions, including those institutions that serve students who are pursuing specific passions (such as student-athletes), by proving a flexible and high-quality education -- two charachteristics that most definitely can coexist. Our students are scholars, artists, and athletes who put their hearts into their goals -- and we help them succeed.
It is the mission of AESA Prep Academy to provide academic, cultural, and social programming within the framework of a positive, nurturing, and stimulating academic environment as our students strive for college scholarships and beyond. Our goal is to provide financial assistance for our students' academic and athletic endeavors six years from their high school graduation date as our funds allow.
Because of AESA's small size and close-knit staff, we are able to provide a memorable and wonderful middle and high school experience for our students. AESA students and parents are a part of our family, and we keep an open door policy to make sure that everyone can express their needs.
